The current stratigraphic location of Minaco Quarry, which covers approximately 690 hectares with a production capacity of 10 000 to 12 000 m³, is such that oikocryst reflectors are small and limited in number making the medium color Nero Impala® quarried at Minaco highly sought after in both the construction and monumental markets. It is considered one of the best Nero Impala® on the market because of the uniformity of colour.
