Springbok Quarry covers approximately 60 hectares measuring 1 200 metres long by 1 100 metres wide and to a depth of 102 metres with a production capacity of between 25 000 to 30 000 m³ per annum. Premium grade dark to medium colour Nero Impala® is produced from two main reefs namely Y Reef where quarrying commenced in the early 1960s and E Reef which has been substantially redeveloped since 1994 into one of the largest solid formation dimension stone quarries in the world.
